Hardware BMS Series

The Battery Management System (BMS) incorporates cutting-edge technology including highly integrated IC, low resistance MOS, and high current equalization. This state-of-the-art system is designed to accommodate a wide spectrum of battery configurations, ranging from 1S to 32S, and supports lithium-ion batteries or LiFePo4 battery packs with capacities spanning from 1A to 300A.

A comprehensive suite of protective features is integrated into the BMS, ensuring the utmost safety and reliability. These include over(dis)charge protection, over-current protection, short circuit protection, and over-temperature protection. Moreover, the BMS boasts an equalization function and a weak current switch, further enhancing its safety profile and performance capabilities.

The versatility of the BMS extends across an extensive range of applications. It serves as an invaluable component in various industries, making it suitable for use in power tools, electric bicycles, electric motorcycles, electric scooters, electric tricycles, golf carts, RVs, new energy vehicles, solar street lights, UPS systems, portable mobile power supplies, solar inverters, energy storage solutions, medical equipment, vacuum cleaners, and an array of 3C digital products.

With its advanced technology and comprehensive protective measures, the BMS plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency, safety, and longevity of battery packs. Its adaptability to diverse applications showcases its significance in the ever-evolving landscape of energy utilization and storage. The integration of high-quality components and innovative features sets the BMS apart as a reliable and indispensable asset for a wide range of industries and fields.

Key Functions of Hardware BMS:

  1. Cell Voltage Monitoring: One of the primary functions of a hardware BMS is to continuously monitor the voltage of each individual cell within a battery pack. By doing so, it ensures that no cell is overcharged or over-discharged, which can lead to reduced battery life or, in extreme cases, safety hazards.

  2. Temperature Regulation: Temperature management is crucial for the optimal performance and safety of battery packs. Hardware BMS monitors the temperature of each cell and implements necessary actions, such as thermal regulation or cell isolation, to prevent overheating or freezing.

  3. Current Management: Hardware BMS keeps a close eye on the current flowing in and out of the battery pack. It helps prevent overcurrent situations, which can lead to excessive heat generation and potential damage to the cells.

  4. State of Charge (SOC) Estimation: SOC estimation is vital for accurate battery capacity assessment. Hardware BMS employs advanced algorithms and measurements to provide an accurate representation of the remaining charge in the battery pack.

Hardware BMS is a charging and discharging protection for series connected lithium battery packs; When fully charged, it can ensure that the voltage difference between individual batteries is less than the set value, achieving equal charging of each individual battery in the battery pack.

Effectively improving the charging effect under series charging mode; Simultaneously detecting the overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, short circuit, and over temperature status of each individual battery in the battery pack to protect and extend the battery's service life; Undervoltage protection prevents each individual battery from being damaged due to over discharge during use.

The finished lithium battery consists of two main parts: lithium battery cells and BMS. The function of Hardware BMS is to protect the battery from over discharging, over charging, and over current, as well as output short circuit protection.

Adopting mature and stable integration solutions, after more than ten years of market testing, it is safe and reliable, with high-quality low internal resistance MOS and high-quality IC chips, with good performance.

In terms of details, we have also made many improvements. The open heat sink has a low temperature rise and a 50% increase in heat dissipation efficiency. Some products can be equipped with weak current switches and rewritable parameters. The buckle type ribbon cable is easy to connect, conductive and stable, firm and not easy to loosen. It has preset screw positioning holes and dual temperature control.

Can be applied to electric bicycles, electric two wheelers, electric tricycles, balance trucks, forklifts, golf courses, electric motorcycles, real estate, solar energy storage,UPS.
